Depression

“All it takes is a beautiful, fake smile to hide an injured soul,
and they will never notice how broken you really are.”
– Robin Williams

Gray. Gray. Nothing… but gray.

Every day – the same color. You’ve been feeling this way for a long time. It’s your secret, and you’ve been good at keeping it.

You power through your day; go to work with a coffee in hand and a cheerful, “Good morning!”

You find a meal to cook for the family that won’t drain the last bit of energy you have.

You manage to get on the floor to help build that epic Lego set.

You’ve been depressed before. Everyone gets down, sometimes.

But this time is different.

Nothing interests you anymore. The outside world keeps turning, but yours is lagging behind.

Hopelessness. Sadness. Emptiness. You feel them in your stomach, in your heart, in your whole body.

Lately, they seem to be all you feel.

There’s no rebound in sight, and it’s getting harder and harder to put on that convincing smile.

It’s beginning to overwhelm you.

And it’s disturbing.

You can’t keep going like this. You fear you’re going to break.

Something’s got to change.

You are not alone, and you CAN get through this.

But you need to reach out – because this is bigger than you.

You can’t just “Snap out of it.” You’ve tried.

I’m here to help you discover the root cause of your depression.

Then, together, we’ll create the map for your path toward rediscovering yourself.

Don’t try to make this journey alone.
